MARAMAG – ONE OF THE 35 LGU’s NATIONWIDE CONFERRED WITH AFHFs LEVEL III

Pasay City – The Department of Health commended LGU Maramag with the highest level of recognition for our efforts in developing an Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility Level III (AFHFs). AFHF is a health facility that provides equitable, accessible, acceptable, appropriate, effective, and quality comprehensive health care and services in an adolescent-friendly environment. At present, a total of 704 adolescent-friendly health facilities were established nationwide – 617 Level I, 52 Level II, and 35 Level III.

Proud member of the 35’s; in recognition of our efforts, LGU Maramag was awarded trophy, insignia, and cash prize amounting to 100,000 pesos.

With the strong support of our Local Chief Executive, Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal, the supervision of our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Evangeline C. Revilla, our DMO Ms. Mildred M. Tagarda, LGOO VI Florence A. Waban, our former DTTB Dr. Zichri Keren P. Pepito, PPOII Ms. Clemencia C. Pague, PHN Ms. Lanie S. Pates, Ms. Sarah S. Cañar, POPCOM Region 10 Regional Director Jerry Gupit, Department of Health – CHD Northern Mindanao, USAID’s Mindanao Health Project, implemented by JHPIEGO in partnership with RTI International, Sangguniang Kabataan, Peer Educators, Nexus and all the youths of Maramag who have been instrumental in everything to what the Center is today.
