MANDATE
The Local Government Unit of Maramag (LGU) shall exercise powers for sufficient and effective governance, promote general welfare, ensure and support the preservation and enrichment of culture, promote health and safety, promote balanced ecology, support development of self-reliant scientific and technological capabilities, improve public morals, enhance economic prosperity, social justice, full employment and peace and order. (Paragraph (b), Rule I of IRR of LGC of 1991).
