Manila, May 4, 2024 – The Local Government Unit of Maramag led by Municipal Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal, has been honored as a GAWAD EDUKAMPYON AWARDEE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT (Municipality Category). This prestigious award, presented at a recent ceremony held at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, highlights the innovative efforts for educational programs in the municipality.

This achievement highlights the dedication and teamwork of the people of Maramag, which originates from the proactive leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal, Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maramag, and the Local Government Unit workforce who have played significant key roles by offering their unwavering support and commitment, significantly contributing to the success of our municipality’s initiatives.

Special acknowledgement has also been extended to Mr. Marky Doño of Maramag Central Elementary School for his excellent write-up on “Project CARVES” (Care and Resilience among Volunteers for Education and Social Welfare Services), which played a critical role in securing this accolade.

Project CARVES is an initiative that underscores the importance of care and resilience among volunteers dedicated to education and social welfare, with a significant focus on enhancing the services provided to the community’s children. This project is brought to life by the passionate efforts of the Day Care Workers, whose dedication is the cornerstone of the program’s success.
